Tripoli, October 8, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Major General Imad al-Trabulsi, discussed on Wednesday in Tripoli with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Güven Bekçık, and his accompanying delegation, ways to enhance security cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the new Advisor to the Ministry of Interior at the Turkish Embassy, ​​Colonel Ferid Yılmaz, and the Third Secretary at the Embassy, ​​Volkan Yamaner.

During the meeting, ways to enhance security cooperation and consolidate bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, particularly in the areas of training, qualification, and development of Libyan police capabilities. The meeting also focused on expanding areas of joint coordination to serve the common interest and enhance security and stability.
