Dabaiba monitors the performance of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Authority and stresses the importance of raising its efficiency and improving services for pilgrims.

Tripoli, October 7, 2025 (LANA) – The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, discussed the Authority's performance and ways to enhance its administrative efficiency with the new Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Authority, Ibrahim Al-Saghir, on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister's media office stated that Dabaiba stressed during the meeting the need to fully adhere to plans and apply the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all Authority operations, to ensure effective procedures and smooth workflow.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of organizing work within the Authority and improving the level of services provided to pilgrims. He emphasized the need to provide an integrated operational environment that enhances the pilgrims' experience and strengthens the Authority's performance at all levels.

The office explained that the handover ceremony between the new and former Chairman of the Authority was held in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. (697) of 2025 regarding the appointment of the Chairman and two deputies of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Authority, with an emphasis on ensuring business continuity and enhancing coordination between departments.

It is worth noting that these steps are part of the government's efforts to enhance institutional performance, develop services, and raise the level of efficiency in the service of pilgrims.
