Tripoli, October 6, 2025 (LANA) – Brega Petroleum Marketing Company (BPMC) conducted an extensive inspection tour on Monday, targeting the Azizia, Qasr Ben Ghashir, and Al-Suwani areas. This tour is part of its ongoing plan to enhance transparency and institutional discipline and ensure the protection of public funds.

Representatives of the Public Order Prosecution Office in South Tripoli and members of the Municipal Guard in Qasr Ben Ghashir participated in the inspection tour, with the aim of verifying compliance with the technical and administrative controls in force for fuel distribution.

The company stated, via its official platforms, that the tour focused on matching the distributed fuel quantities with actual consumption rates, in addition to assessing the integrity of operational procedures within distribution points.

BPMC affirmed its unwavering commitment to its national responsibilities towards maintaining the oil system, rationalizing fuel consumption, and preventing any violations or practices that harm the public interest.

It also stressed that inspection campaigns will continue in the coming period across various regions to ensure fairness in fuel distribution and consolidate the principles of transparency and institutional responsibility.
