The High Council for Human Rights and the British Embassy discuss enhancing cooperation.

Tripoli, October 1, 2025 (LANA) – The Human Rights Committee of the High Council of State held a meeting today, Wednesday, with representatives of the British Embassy in Tripoli to discuss ways of cooperation in several areas.
The meeting was attended by the chairperson and members of the committee, in addition to the secretary of the Political Affairs Department at the British Embassy, and the embassy's security policy and program officer.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation in the field of human rights, the issue of illegal immigration in Libya, and women's rights issues, reflecting the commitment to strengthening partnership and communication between the committee and the British Embassy.
The two sides emphasized the importance of continuing consultation and coordination on issues of common interest, which contributes to supporting the process of protecting human rights and promoting stability.
