Al-Menfi: The army's doctrine must be based on defending the land and the people, and securing national sovereignty.

Tripoli, September 30, 2025 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Al-Menfi, stressed that the army must be the impregnable fortress of the state and must work to carry out its missions in accordance with the military doctrine based on defending the land and the people, securing national sovereignty, and preserving the unity of Libyan territory.

This came during an expanded meeting held today, Tuesday, in the capital, Tripoli, with a number of army officers, in the presence of the Chief of General Staff and his assistant. The meeting aimed to consolidate the foundations of the state and build an efficient military institution, according to the media office of the President of the Council.

During the meeting, according to the office, ways to restructure the military institution were reviewed in accordance with military regulations and discipline, ensuring a clear hierarchy of command and reinforcing the principle of discipline and absolute loyalty to the homeland alone.
