Takala discusses with the German Special Envoy the latest developments in the political crisis in Libya and support for electoral solutions.

Tripoli, September 30, 2025 (LANA) – The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, and the two deputies and the rapporteur of the Council, discussed the latest political developments in Libya with the German Special Envoy to Libya, Christian Bock, on Tuesday.
The Council stated on its official page that the meeting was attended by First Deputy Speaker Hassan Habib, Second Deputy Speaker Moussa Faraj, Rapporteur Belkacem Dabrz, German Ambassador to Libya Ralf Tarraf, and the official responsible for the Libyan file at the German Foreign Ministry, Sarah Holt.
He explained that the meeting addressed the roadmap for resolving the political crisis proposed by the UN envoy, in addition to ways to advance the political process towards stability and the completion of electoral deadlines.
During the meeting, the German envoy expressed his country's readiness to bring the views of the political parties closer together, praising the role and efforts of the High Council of State to resolve the political crisis and reach free and fair elections that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people for lasting stability.
