Tripoli, September 29, 2025 (LANA) – Acting Minister of Education Ali Al-Abed discussed with the Egyptian Ambassador to Libya Tamer Hanafi joint cooperation between the two countries in the educational field.
During the meeting, held at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides discussed ways to develop mechanisms for equivalency of certificates and facilitate procedures for Libyan students studying in Egypt. They also discussed the conditions of Egyptian students enrolled in educational institutions in Libya, and efforts to overcome any difficulties they may face to ensure a suitable educational environment in accordance with applicable legislation.
Al-Abed emphasized the deep historical relations between the two brotherly peoples, while the Egyptian Ambassador expressed his country's keenness to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
