Al-Ghouj discusses with the World Health Organization the mechanism for evaluating the joint action plan for the years 2024-2025.

Tripoli, September 29, 2025 (LANA) – The Undersecretary General of the Ministry of Health and Acting Minister, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, discussed today with the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Libya, Ahmed Zouiten, enhancing joint cooperation and evaluating the country action plan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the mechanism for evaluating the country action plan for bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the WHO for the years 2024-2025, in addition to initiating preparatory steps for adopting the action plan for the coming years.
The two sides also discussed strategic national priority areas, foremost among which are strengthening health information systems, achieving universal health coverage, and promoting community health, in addition to other health issues being worked on in partnership with the World Health Organization.
