Takala discusses with Al-Sour issues related to the work of the Public Prosecution

Tripoli, September 29, 2025 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, discussed on Monday with the Attorney General, Counselor Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, issues related to the work of the Public Prosecution Office and the efforts made to establish and strengthen the rule of law, justice, and the protection of rights.

During the meeting, Al-Sour briefed the President of the Council and members of the Presidency Office on the progress of work in the prosecution offices and the mechanism for applying laws in various cases referred to the Attorney General's Office.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance the work of the judiciary in combating corruption, emphasizing the importance of the judicial system in combating financial and administrative corruption and ensuring the implementation of justice.

Takala commended the efforts of the Public Prosecution Office in establishing the rule of law and justice, guaranteeing rights and freedoms, and ending impunity, affirming the Council's full support for the judiciary.
