Council of Representatives participates in the Arab Parliamentary Media Forum in Bahrain.

Manama, September 29, 2025 (LANA) – The Council of Representatives participated in the activities of the Third Arab Parliamentary Media Forum, which kicked off yesterday, Sunday, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, under the theme: "Parliamentary Media in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Achieving Credibility and Creating Influence."

The Council of Representatives delegation participating in the forum was headed by the Director of the Media Department and Official Spokesperson for the Council, Abdullah Blihaq, accompanied by a number of employees from the Media Department at the Council's Diwan.

On its first day, the forum witnessed the presentation of several working papers by participants, focusing on tools for measuring and analyzing the societal impact of parliamentary media. The forum also discussed the reality of parliamentary media and its future aspirations, with a focus on the role of artificial intelligence in developing parliamentary media performance.

For his part, Maher Al-Kadiki, Head of the Editing, Monitoring, and Relations Department at the Media Department of the Council's Diwan, presented a working paper entitled "Parliamentary Media in Libya: Challenges and Opportunities." He reviewed the experience of the Media Department of the Libyan House of Representatives, addressing the most prominent obstacles facing parliamentary media in Libya and the opportunities available for its development in light of modern technological changes.
