Sabratha, September 28, 2025 (LANA) – Joint security patrols affiliated with the Field Work Committee of the Sabratha Security Room arrested hundreds of illegal immigrants.
The media office of the Sabratha Security Directorate stated that the arrests occurred during a large-scale security campaign carried out by security services this morning, targeting their presence at workers' stations and public places.
The directorate confirmed that coordination had taken place with the control room of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency regarding the reception of those arrested at one of the agency's shelters in Tripoli. Legal measures were also taken against the owners of the properties used to house them.
