Takala affirms the High Council of State's support for consensus on sovereign positions during his meeting with a delegation of representatives.

Tripoli, September 28, 2025 (LANA) – The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, affirmed his support for the consensus reached by the Sovereign Positions Committees on Sunday during his meeting with a delegation from the House of Representatives.
The Council stated on its official page that Takala met with a delegation of members of the House of Representatives following the Benghazi meeting held yesterday, Saturday. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Speaker of the Council, Hassan Habib, the Second Deputy Speaker, Musa Faraj, the Rapporteur, Belkacem Dabarz, and a number of members of the High Council of State.
The Council explained that the meeting addressed the exchange of views on the latest political developments and ways to enhance coordination and consultation between the two councils, in a manner that serves the national interest and contributes to supporting the path of consensus to achieve stability in the country. Common issues were also discussed, most notably the unification of institutions and the appointment of those occupying sovereign positions.
