Al-Menfi meets Massad Boulos in New York

Tripoli, September 24, 2025 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, met today, Wednesday, in New York, with the US Presidential Advisor for African and Middle Eastern Affairs, Massad Boulos, accompanied by the Senior Official in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), Acting Assistant Secretary of State, Mora Namdar.

The Presidential Council's media office stated that the meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries, the political situation in Libya, and ways to enhance cooperation on political, security, and economic issues.

The meeting also reviewed, according to the same source, the latest developments in Libya, particularly with regard to the path to political stability and preparation for elections, in addition to combating terrorism and illegal immigration, and cooperation on energy and investment.
