The Presidential Guard denies placing its logos on vehicles or that groups unrelated to it have joined the force

Tripoli, September 24, 2025 (LANA) - The Presidential Guard has categorically denied reports circulating about the replacement or placement of the agency's logos on vehicles, or the recruitment of unrelated groups under its name, stressing that such allegations are completely rejected.

In a clarification statement published on its official page, the agency said it is an independent sovereign institution committed to its specific and clear missions, and will under no circumstances be a party to conflicts or a cover for any party.

In its statement, the agency called on people not to be drawn into misleading news and suspicious pages that attempt to drag the agency into conflicts and disputes that have no connection to its work, with the aim of confusing public opinion. It affirmed its commitment to performing its national duty with complete impartiality, protecting state institutions and maintaining the security of the capital.
