New York, 24 September 2025 (Lana) U.S. Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos, said that he held a meeting at the UN General Assembly today to coordinate international support for Libyan efforts to make their country stronger, safer, and more prosperous.
“A stable and united Libya is better for us all. Together, we can help Libya advance closer toward that goal,” he added in a tweet.
Boulos thanked UNSMIL SRSG Hanna Tetteh and the key partners who attended the meeting, including Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, the UAE, and the UK.
