Tetteh discusses some points of the UN roadmap with the High Council of State

Tripoli, September 23, 2025 (LANA) – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Hanna Tetteh, met today, Tuesday, with the High Council of State's Evaluation and Study Committee to discuss some points of the roadmap for resolving the political crisis in Libya.
According to the Council's media office, the meeting discussed some matters related to the second part of the roadmap for resolving the political crisis in Libya, which the Special Representative presented to the Security Council on August 21, particularly those related to the structured dialogue and the government.
The committee members heard the mission's views on these two points and were informed of its concerns regarding the implementation process, in addition to the guarantees that can be strengthened to ensure the success of this process.
The meeting comes as part of the committee's completion of its work after it neared completion of the first part of its report on the roadmap, related to the commission and the electoral framework. The report is now in its final form, in preparation for its submission to the Presidency Office for presentation during the Council's next session, according to the media office.
