Al-Koni stresses the importance of cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank to create sustainable development in Libya.

Tripoli, September 23, 2025 (LANA) - Member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, welcomed cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Foundation (IsDB) to contribute to creating sustainable development in various fields.

During his participation in the introductory forum of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Libya on Tuesday in Tripoli, Al-Koni stressed the importance of partnering with the venerable group to benefit from its expertise during this phase that Libya is experiencing to advance the Libyan economy. He explained that the public and private sectors are considered tributaries of the national economy and must intensify their efforts to contribute to creating sustainable development that contributes to achieving stability, in cooperation with the bank.

Al-Koni also expressed his confidence that cooperation between the relevant institutions in Libya and the IsDB Foundation will lead to an effective strategic partnership for a better tomorrow for the people of Libya. He indicated that the bank, which Libya helped establish in 1974, has played a role in achieving sustainable development for the group of members who have experienced crises.
