The UN mission invites Libyan youth to participate in a meeting on its first report, "Voices of Youth."

Tripoli, September 23, 2025 (LANA) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) invited young Libyan men and women to participate in a virtual meeting to discuss the release of its first report on youth, entitled "Youth Voices - Towards a Better Future for All Libyans." The meeting was attended by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Hannah Tetteh.
The mission explained that the report represents a summary of the voices, hopes, and aspirations of more than 1,200 young women and men from various regions of Libya, gathered during workshops and discussion sessions held over the past year as part of the "Youth Participates" program launched by the mission to support youth participation in public life and enhance their role in shaping the country's future.
According to the UN invitation, the meeting will be held on Thursday, September 26, at 5:00 PM Libyan time, via videoconference.
