New York, 23 September 2025 (Lana) Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, AL-Taher Al-Baour, participated yesterday in the annual consultative meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York.

The meeting witnessed an exchange of views and consultations on current regional and international developments, in addition to coordination on issues on the General Assembly's agenda, contributing to strengthening the unified Arab position within international forums.

The ministers also discussed ways to support joint Arab action and intensify diplomatic efforts to address the challenges facing the region, while emphasizing the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the need to mobilize international support for it in all international forums.

Al-Baour's participation in this meeting comes within the framework of Libya's commitment to actively contributing to efforts to strengthen Arab solidarity and joint coordination on dialogue and cooperation paths to achieve security, stability, and sustainable development in the Arab world and the entire region.
