Tripoli, September 22, 2025 (LANA) – Director of the General Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Al-Taher Hussein, received today, Monday, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to Libya, Franklin Aquilina, on his first visit to the Ministry for the purpose of getting acquainted.

The meeting discussed visions and prospects for strengthening relations between the General Protocol Department and the Embassy of the Republic of Malta in Tripoli to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples, in addition to emphasizing the continuation of mutual consultation and coordination in this regard.
