Dabaiba meets with Zintan elders to discuss the role of social components in supporting government programs

Tripoli, September 22, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, met today, Monday, at his office in Tripoli, with the Council of Elders and Notables of Zintan and the Social Liaison Committee of the Council of Ministers.

The Prime Minister's media office reported that the meeting addressed developments in the country, in addition to reviewing a number of national issues, enhancing stability, and the role of social components in supporting government programs and plans aimed at improving the living and service conditions of citizens.

Dabaiba praised the pivotal role played by the elders and notables in unifying ranks and bringing people together, stressing that the government prioritizes social components as a supporter of stability and development.

The Zintan Elders affirmed their support and appreciation for the steps taken by the government on various issues, reiterating their commitment to stand by state institutions and fully cooperate with their efforts to serve the nation's interests and strengthen its unity.
