The Ministry of Local Government is organizing a training program to raise the readiness of the communication teams in the Qasr Bin Ghashir Municipality in preparation for the winter season.

Qasr Bin Ghashir, September 22, 2025 (LANA) – The Local Communication Center of the Ministry of Local Government organized a training program on Monday targeting employees of the Local Communication Office in the Qasr Bin Ghashir Municipality. This training program is part of efforts to enhance field preparedness and effective response to reports during the winter emergency season, and is part of the National Emergency Committee's plan.

According to the Ministry's official website, the program aims to enhance the efficiency of employees working in the Local Communication Offices through a series of practical lectures and training sessions. These sessions focused on mechanisms for receiving and quickly handling emergency reports, as well as adopting standard procedures for coordination with relevant service, security, and health agencies.

The training included a section dedicated to preparing for expected winter weather conditions, including dealing with reports of floods, power outages, and disruption of basic services, in addition to providing urgent support in emergency situations to ensure the safety of citizens and mitigate potential damage.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Local Government of the Government of National Unity seeks, through these programs, to develop the capabilities of local response teams and promote effective coordination among service institutions, ensuring rapid intervention and achieving the highest levels of efficiency during crises.
