Tripoli, September 21, 2025 (LANA) - The National Oil Corporation (NOC), in cooperation with the Austrian company OMV and Zueitina Oil Company, organized a specialized workshop on Sunday on the use of modern technologies to increase production rates.
OMV gave a visual presentation showcasing the latest technologies used to increase production rates, improve the operating efficiency of submersible pumps, and effective solutions to extend their lifespan and improve their performance, thus contributing to enhancing production capacity.
The workshop aims to leverage these technologies with oil sector production companies, contributing to the development of technical aspects and ensuring the achievement of the corporation's plan to increase production rates.
The workshop was attended by the directors of the production, drilling, and well maintenance departments at the corporation, the chairman of the management committee and the director of the planning department at Zueitina Oil Company, the executive director of OMV Libya, in addition to a group of specialists from the production, drilling, and reserve development departments at the corporation, and representatives from Zueitina Oil Company and OMV.
