Tripoli, September 21, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, today, Sunday, welcomed the Al-Ahly Tripoli basketball team after winning the bronze medal in the World Cup for Intercontinental Champions for the first time in the history of Libyan and African basketball.
Dabaiba said, according to the government's media office: "Your achievement today is a moment of pride, and it proves that Libya, with its youth, is capable of ascending to global platforms and making history."
