Tripoli, September 19, 2025 (LANA) - The European Union Delegation to Libya described the atmosphere of the workshop it held with its implementing partners for EU projects in the country as lively and positive.

The mission said, via its official Facebook account on Thursday evening, that the workshop focused on coordinating the EU team's vision and efforts to enhance support for the Libyan authorities in providing basic services and meeting the needs of citizens, while working to promote inclusiveness and prosperity for all, including women and youth.

The mission added: "We are proud to be Libya's largest trade, humanitarian, and development partner."

It continued: "We are also a reliable partner committed to supporting Libya's long-term stability and prosperity through our implementing partners, whether United Nations agencies, Member State cooperation agencies, or Libyan and international NGOs."

The European Union Mission concluded its post with a slogan that emphasized the strength of the relationship between the two parties, saying: "Libya and the European Union: Together we shape the future."
