Tripoli, September 17, 2025 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, approved the formation of a special committee to complete the procedures for separating the civilian Mitiga Airport from the military base in the same area. 

The committee, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Air Transport Affairs, was tasked with completing the tasks assigned to it pursuant to Resolution No. 400 of 2025. The committee is to implement its assigned tasks within a week of its issuance and submit a report containing the results of its work to the Prime Minister for approval.
