Tripoli, September 17, 2025 (LANA) - Major General Abdel Fattah Daboub officially assumed his duties as head of the Judicial Police Service on Wednesday.

Following the handover ceremony and assuming his duties at the Service's headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, in accordance with approved administrative procedures, the Head of the Service held a meeting with department and branch directors to discuss the progress of the Service's work.

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, had issued Decision No. 637 of 2025 appointing Major General Daboub as head of the Judicial Police Service.
