The Electoral Commission approves the final results of the municipal council elections.

Tripoli, September 10, 2025 (LANA) - The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) approved today, Wednesday, the final results of the municipal council elections (second group) for (34) municipal councils.

The Commission also approved the final results of the Shwerif Municipal Council elections within the municipal council elections (first group), which had previously been withheld pursuant to Commission Council Decision No. (131) of 2025, in implementation of the ruling of the Gharyan Primary Court.

The Commission affirmed that this step complements the electoral process for municipal councils and reflects its commitment to transparency and announcing the results in accordance with approved legal procedures.
