Al-Baour inspects the progress of work at the Libyan embassy in Malta

Valletta, September 10, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, inspected the progress of work at the Libyan Embassy in Malta on Wednesday.

Al-Baour toured the embassy's facilities, where he was briefed on the progress of work within its various departments, particularly consular affairs, and the services it provides to members of the Libyan community residing in Malta, including students, businessmen, and their families.

Al-Baour listened to the comments of the embassy staff, expressing his gratitude for the progress of work and wishing them success in carrying out their duties, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Al-Baour had arrived earlier today in Valletta for a visit to Malta, during which he held talks with the Maltese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ian Borg, addressing a number of pressing issues, most notably the issue of illegal immigration and means of joint cooperation in border management.
