Tripoli, September 10, 2025 (LANA) - The High Council of State's Committee for Evaluation and Study of the UN Roadmap discussed the issue of electoral laws during its fifth meeting in Tripoli on Wednesday.

According to the Council, committee members continued their study of the electoral laws related to the UN roadmap presented by the UN envoy to the Security Council at the end of last August. The remaining issues related to the roadmap will be studied and discussed during the committee's next meeting.

The committee presented its initial recommendations on the UN roadmap during the High Council of State session yesterday, Tuesday. The committee will submit its final report during the council's next session.
