Tripoli, September 10, 2025 (LANA) – The Minister of Tourism in the Government of National Unity, Nasreddine Milad Al-Fazzani, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Libya, Mohammed Alim, in the presence of a number of Indian businessmen, to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.

The meeting discussed ways to establish investment partnerships between the Libyan and Indian private sectors, in addition to facilitating procedures supporting tourism between the two countries, and working to remove obstacles facing the movement of investors, business owners, and travelers.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Fazzani emphasized the Ministry of Tourism's commitment to facilitating procedures and removing obstacles facing investors, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in developing the tourism sector in accordance with international standards.

For his part, the Indian delegation expressed its interest in strengthening economic cooperation with Libya, particularly in the field of tourism, praising the investment opportunities available in the country.

The Ministry of Tourism explained on its official page that this meeting comes as part of its efforts to activate international partnerships and attract investments that contribute to supporting the national economy and developing the infrastructure of the tourism sector.
