Libya and the Czechia are discussing ways to benefit from industrial expertise and determine priorities for joint cooperation.

Tripoli, September 9, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Heisa, received today, Tuesday, at the Ministry's headquarters, the Ambassador of Czechia to Libya, Ryszard Kadeljak, accompanied by the Embassy's Commercial Attaché, Martin Trojen.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between Libya and Czechia in the industrial and commercial fields, and the possibility of benefiting from Czech expertise in developing Libya's industrial infrastructure, particularly in the areas of manufacturing, technology transfer, and capacity building.
The two sides also discussed identifying priorities for joint practical cooperation, which would enhance opportunities for implementing development programs that contribute to supporting the industrial sector in Libya and improving its performance.
Part of the discussion was devoted to reviewing partnership opportunities in the field of industrial investment and the development of technical personnel, in line with the state's efforts to revitalize the industrial sector and diversify the production base.
For his part, the Czech Ambassador expressed his country's interest in expanding cooperation with Libya, pointing to the promising opportunities that can be built upon in various industrial fields, and affirming his country's readiness to provide the necessary technical support in this regard.
