Tripoli, September 9, 2025 (LANA) – The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has revealed details of the applications for opening documentary credits executed during the period from August 1 to August 31, 2025. This is based on Circular No. (2025/10) issued by the Banking and Monetary Supervision Department of the CBL on the controls governing foreign exchange transactions.

The CBL stated in an official circular issued today, Tuesday, that this measure comes in response to the provisions of Paragraph (7), Point (10) of the general controls of the aforementioned circular, which stipulates that the parties requesting the opening of letters of credit agree to the CBL publishing the details of those letters of credit.

The CBL called on all interested parties to view the full lists and details through the attached link on the CBL's official website.
