Tripoli, 9 September 2025 (Lana): EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, met with the new Ambassador of France to Libya, Thierry Vallat, where he stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two parties within the framework of the European-Libyan partnership.

“Welcome to Tripoli to H.E. Thierry Vallat, the new Ambassador of France to Libya. Looking forward to cooperating closely in "Team Europe" spirit to strengthen the EU-Libya partnership across the country,” Orlando said in a tweet yesterday.
