Dbaiba receives a British military delegation.

Tripoli, September 2, 2025 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership with the United Kingdom in the military field, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of Libyan military institutions.
This came during his reception on Tuesday of the British Ministry of Defense's Senior Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa, Lieutenant General Edward Ahlgren, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the United Kingdom Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden.
For his part, Lieutenant General Ahlgren reiterated his country's readiness to enhance cooperation in the fields of training and rehabilitation, to achieve stability and contribute to building effective institutions.
The meeting addressed strengthening military cooperation between Libya and the United Kingdom, supporting and building Libyan military capabilities, and cooperating in the fields of training and development.
The meeting was attended from the Libyan side by Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, and his assistant Lieutenant General Salah Al-Namroush.
