Ministry of Oil discusses launching development projects in areas near oil fields.

Tripoli, 2 September 2025 (Lana) Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Abdul Sadiq chaired the regular meeting of the Ministry's administrative team, attended by the Directors General and Office Directors, as part of monitoring institutional performance and developing work mechanisms.

The meeting discussed several key topics, including the Ministry's administrative workflow and the empowerment and training of staff to achieve the Ministry's vision and strategic aims.

The meeting also discussed efforts to enhance international cooperation and expand awareness and support campaigns on oil, gas, and energy issues, in addition to focusing on the digital transformation process through the implementation of modern systems within the Ministry and the oil sector.

The meeting also addressed the launch of sustainable development projects related to the environment and projects in areas near oil fields, as well as reviewed the Ministry's recent successes, including the Energy Generation Initiative and its national awareness and advocacy campaign on oil, gas, and energy issues.
