Tripoli, August 31, 2025 (LANA) – Army units affiliated with the (444) Combat Brigade arrested "Islah Al-Hadi Shanaq" while he was selling cocaine in central Tripoli.
The brigade's media office stated on its official Facebook page that the arrest came after a meticulous monitoring and investigation, during which a tight ambush was set up that resulted in his arrest red-handed, with more than a kilogram of cocaine in his possession.
The (444) Combat Brigade confirmed that legal action will be taken against him and that an investigation will be opened with him in preparation for his referral to the Public Prosecution.
