Foreign ministers of Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia discuss developments in the Libyan crisis in Jeddah

Cairo, August 25, 2025 (LANA) – The Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Badr Abdel Aati, Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, and Tunisia, Mohamed Nafti, discussed the latest developments in the Libyan crisis on the sidelines of their participation in the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held today, Monday, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on its official Facebook page on Monday that the meeting addressed developments in Libya and ways to support the path to a comprehensive political settlement, in a manner that preserves Libya's national unity and enhances its security and regional stability.
This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at supporting the political, security, and economic processes in Libya, in preparation for holding general elections and achieving national reconciliation.
