Tripoli, August 24, 2025 (LANA) – The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, discussed the latest political developments in Libya with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Güven Bekçiç, and his accompanying delegation at the Council's headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, on Sunday.

During the meeting, the latest political developments in Libya were reviewed, as well as ways to advance the political process to reach a legal and constitutional basis that paves the way for free and transparent elections that reflect the will of the Libyan people and fulfill their aspirations for stability and development.

According to the Council, the Turkish Ambassador congratulated the President of the Council and the members of the Presidential Office on their victory in the elections, wishing them success in carrying out their national duties.
