Tripoli, August 19, 2025 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense in the Government of National Unity, Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, met yesterday, Monday, at the Ministry's headquarters, with the Deputy Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Khoury.

The Ministry of Defense reported on its official page that the two sides discussed several topics related to the mission's tasks in Libya, including defense matters, and the ministry's efforts to implement plans to reorganize, rebuild, and support the military institution.

According to the page, Khoury expressed her full appreciation for all the development and organizational work she had learned about, especially recently.
