Tripoli, 18 August 2025 (Lana) An expanded meeting was held yesterday at the National Oil Corporation's (NOC) headquarters in Tripoli, including the corporation's technical and financial departments and members of the Akakus Oil Operations Company's Management Committee.

The meeting reviewed the company's plans and activities for 2025 in the areas of health, safety, and the environment; reserve estimates, and technical activities related to production, where the company recorded its highest production rate during the year, reaching 313,000 barrels per day.

The attendees also discussed targeted future projects, the company's plans to develop its operations and increase production rates, production forecasts for the next decade, and the proposed budget for implementing the 2026 programs.

The meeting was attended by directors of the corporation's technical departments, members of the company's Management Committee, and technical and financial specialists from both sides, as well as representatives from the Libyan Technology Company and Al-Jawf Oil Company and representatives of foreign partners.
