Takala meets with the UK Ambassador.

Tripoli, 18 August 2025 (Lana) Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala discussed, during his meeting yesterday with the Ambassador of the UK, Martin Longden, the latest political development in Libya.

During the meeting held at the HCS’s headquarters in Tripoli, Longden congratulated Takala and members of the presidency office on their win in the council elections, wishing them success in performing their national duties.

The meeting emphasized the importance of intensifying national and international efforts to advance the political process on a sound democratic path, leading to the organization of free, fair, and national elections that reflect the will of Libyans and achieve their aspirations for stability and development.
