Director of the General Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives the German Deputy Ambassador

Tripoli, August 17, 2025 (LANA) – Director of the General Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Hussein, received today, Sunday, the German Deputy Ambassador to Libya, Daniel Johannes Schimsky, on his first official visit since assuming his diplomatic duties.

During the meeting, which took place at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, Taher Hussein stressed the General Protocol Department's commitment to facilitating the tasks of diplomatic missions and providing all the capabilities that contribute to their success.

For his part, the German Deputy Ambassador praised the existing cooperation and the important role played by the Protocol Department in supporting and strengthening diplomatic work.
