European visit to polling stations in Tripoli.

Tripoli 17 August 2025 (Lana) Deputy Heads of EUD and of the Embassy of Germany visited 2 polling stations in Tripoli, to observe the progress of the municipal elections held yesterday and Libyans exercising their electoral rights during 2day’s municipal elections.

The two European officials commended the well-organized electoral process, stressing the EU's continued support for Libya's democratic transition efforts.

The EU Mission congratulated, in a tweet, High National Elections Commission (HNEC) and all Libyans who participated and observed this milestone in Libya’s democratic transition.
