The Syrian Foreign Ministry is examining the situation of the Syrian community in Libya.

Tripoli, August 16, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity discussed with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates the situation of the Syrian community residing in Libya.

This came during a meeting held in Tripoli, attended by the Director of the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry, Najat Shaif; the Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Ministry of Justice, Rabie Al-Zoubi; and, on the Syrian side, the Deputy Director of the Department of Arab Affairs at the Ministry, Mohammed Jaffal, and his accompanying delegation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the two sides discussed solutions to some issues related to consular services.
