The meeting aimed to reach a unified national vision that paves the way for comprehensive elections that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.

The meeting also addressed the challenges associated with holding municipal elections, along with the issue of national reconciliation. Both sides affirmed that this process has seen significant progress, emphasizing the need for continued coordination and joint action with the African Union to strengthen reconciliation efforts and achieve sustainable results.
Deputies Al-Koni and Al-Lafi emphasized during the meeting that any roadmap to resolve the political crisis must stem from a purely national will, and that the political process must be fully owned by the Libyans, as this is the true guarantee of its success. They also emphasized the importance of national consensus and resorting to compromise solutions as a means to achieve stability and strengthen the unity of the state and its institutions.
The Presidential Council, through its two deputies, reiterated its full commitment to supporting the efforts of the United Nations Mission to advance the political process, affirming its support for every dialogue process aimed at broadening the base of national participation and contributing to laying the foundations for lasting stability in Libya.
