Tetteh discusses with members of the 5+5 Committee in Tunisia the progress made in implementing the ceasefire agreement.

Tunis, August 15, 2025 (LANA) - The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya, Hanna Tetteh, met with members of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC) in Tunis on Thursday.
The UN mission said in a statement that the meeting discussed progress made in implementing and sustaining the ceasefire agreement.
The 5+5 Joint Military Commission affirmed its commitment, along with that of its subcommittees, to consolidating the ceasefire and ensuring the withdrawal of foreign forces, foreign fighters, and mercenaries, in the service of security and stability in Libya.
The members of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission also emphasized the importance of achieving progress in the political process to facilitate the country's security process.
