Tripoli, August 15, 2025 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, directed the need to prioritize projects that directly impact citizens' lives and improve services and quality of life across the country.
This came during his follow-up on the progress of the Executive Team for Strategic Initiatives and Projects on Thursday.
The team's head, Mustafa Al-Manea, gave a detailed presentation of the initiatives and projects, including the progress made in their implementation, an assessment of their performance according to approved indicators, monitoring of implementation timelines, and developing solutions to the challenges facing some projects.
In a detailed presentation, the head of the Executive Team for Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects explained that the number of projects and initiatives has reached 67, of which 8 have been completed, 10 more will be inaugurated before the end of the year, in addition to 20 projects under contract, and 29 projects under implementation.
These projects include infrastructure, modernization and development, roads and bridges, airports and ports, as well as educational, health, development, environmental, and economic initiatives.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that the success of these projects is measured by their adherence to the highest quality standards and their completion within the specified timelines. He emphasized that any delay in implementation is unacceptable.
The team leader explained, during the meeting attended by the Minister of Transport and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, and the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, that the presentation of the report comes within the framework of an objective assessment of project selection and implementation, and a commitment to disclosure and transparency regarding all projects and their implementation process.
