Al Waha Company reviews its achievements during this year.

Tripoli, 14 August 2025 (Lana) During a meeting with the National Oil Corporation's technical departments last Monday and Tuesday, Waha Oil Company reviewed a detailed presentation covering the company's overall activity for 2025, as well as its targets and programs for 2026.
The presentation highlighted the company's achievements during the first half of the current year, including the drilling of a large number of development wells, including two oil wells using horizontal drilling technology with a production capacity exceeding 6,000 barrels per day, as well as the completion of maintenance and operation of gas compressors at the North Daffa station, which contributed to the cessation of gas flaring there.
The meeting, held at the corporation's headquarters in Tripoli, also discussed new field development projects in implementation of the corporation's plan to increase production and reviewed the performance of marginal and major fields, as well as production rates and forecasts for the next ten years.
The two meetings were attended by the directors of the technical departments of the Corporation and Al Waha Company, along with technical and financial specialists from both sides, representatives from the Libyan Technology and Al Jawf companies, the Oil Research Center, and representatives from the foreign partner.
