MOI meets with EUBAM.

Tripoli, 13 August 2025 (Lana) The tenth meeting of the Land Task Force was held yesterday at the GNU-Ministry of Interior, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry's security sectors and the EU Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM).
The meeting, chaired by Abdul-Ati Al-Jadak, Head of the International Organizations Follow-up Department and a member of the Technical Committee for Migration and Border Security, discussed ways to support and secure the border and enhance cooperation with the EUBAM, in addition to monitoring the implementation of joint projects, including equipping border crossings with advanced surveillance systems and supporting some land crossings.
The meeting also reviewed the training programs for security personnel and a review of the field visits planned for the Wazen border crossing and the Nalut border crossing, which is affiliated with the Border Security Service, with the aim of developing infrastructure and enhancing security work efficiency.
The ministry reiterated its commitment to international cooperation and strengthening the capabilities of its security services, which will contribute to protecting the country's security and stability.
